The Business Intelligence & Data Science faculty offers three distinct specializations: Business Intelligence, Big Data, and Data Science. In the first semester Each specialization includes a common foundational course followed by specific specializations.

Master Business Intelligence for a data-driven role—analyze, visualize, and make strategic decisions using cutting-edge tools, transforming raw data into actionable insights

Data Integration and transformation Solutions (ETL) SSIS (60 Hours)

This course focuses on preparation of the data for analysis, reporting, data warehousing and mining. We teach SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS), a data warehousing tool from Microsoft used to implement a wide range of data migration tasks.

Data Modelling (SSAS) (45 Hours)

This course provides the necessary knowledge of building data models by using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). It teaches concepts of dimensional modelling using Star/Snowflake/Hybrid schemas to create data mart and data warehouses.

Busines Intelligence Project

Students will engage in developing industry-relevant projects that simulate real-world scenarios which can be highlighted on their resumes.

Fundamentals of Python programming (45 Hours)

This Course on python is designed to take participants from beginners to proficient Python developers. Explore the foundations of Python programming, mastering essential concepts such as syntax, data structures, and control flow to build a strong programming foundation.

Machine Learning (30 Hours)

A variety of machine learning techniques related to both supervised, unsupervised machine learning, topics related to Deep Learning and an introduction to neural networks.

Applied Data Science with Python (30 Hours)

Advanced skills in Python is crucial for many data science roles. This course helps you to build machine learning models using Python by utlilizing libraries like Tensorflow, Pytorch, Scikit-learn.

Data Science Project

Students will engage in developing industry-relevant projects that simulate real-world scenarios which can be highlighted on their resumes.

Embark on an immersive Big Data Developer course, delving into advanced techniques for handling massive datasets, mastering the intricacies of big data analytics, and honing your skills in data processing.

Big Data Applications (30 Hours)

This course focus on applying Spark, Hadoop, and Hive data frames for practical Big Data applications, emphasizing their role in large-scale data processing and analysis.

Big Data Project

Students will engage in developing industry-relevant projects that simulate real-world scenarios which can be highlighted on their resumes.

Admissions Process

The admission process entails the submission of several key documents. Applicants must provide their diploma and transcripts

  • Highest level of education.
  • Current resume detailing professional and education
  • Birth certificate translated into either English or French
  • 2 Photo identification are necessary

Determine eligibility 

Eligibility criteria includes full-time studies for at least one year, covered by a college-employer agreement or government program or having a combination of interrupted and full-time studies besides the foll.

  • Holding a professional studies, diploma
  • Demonstrating proficiency in hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Recommended Mathematics Secondary 4 CST
  • Possessing basic knowledge in operating systems as well as one of the following:
  • Networking, ERP, or Object-oriented Programming.

Our Business Intelligence program equips students with the skills and knowledge to analyze business data effectively using Microsoft tools such as Power BI, SQL Server,SSIS, SSAS & SSRS. The program covers data visualization, reporting, data modeling, and dashboard development to help students become proficient BI professionals.
Our Data Science program covers a comprehensive range of topics including statistical analysis, machine learning, data mining, predictive modeling, data visualization, and programming language such as Python. Students learn how to extract insights and make data-driven decisions from large datasets.
The Big Data Developer program focuses on technologies and techniques for managing and analyzing massive volumes of data. Students learn about distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark, data storage solutions like HDFS and NoSQL databases, data processing, and advanced analytics.
While prior knowledge of programming and databases is beneficial, it is not always required. Our programs cater to students with varying levels of expertise, from beginners to experienced professionals looking to specialize in these fields.
