Analyzing Data with Power BI
Overview

Learn the various methods and best practices in line with business and technical requirements for modeling, visualizing, and analyzing data with Power BI. Our certificate also teaches you how to access and process data from various data sources, including relational and non-relational data. Alongside exploring and implementing proper security standards and policies across the Power BI spectrum, including datasets and groups. The course will also discuss how to manage and deploy reports and dashboards for sharing and content distribution. Finally, this course will show how to build paginated reports within the Power BI service and publish them in a workspace for inclusion.

Who Should Apply

The certificate is for data professionals and business intelligence professionals who want to learn how to perform data analysis using Power BI accurately. This certificate is also for individuals who develop reports that visualize data from the data platform technologies in the cloud and on-premises. In addition, the certificate is also great for recent graduates who are looking to expand their skillset into Power BI.

Eligibility and Requirements

There are no formal prerequisites for this course, but we strongly suggest applicants have the following topics:

  • Understanding core data concepts.
  • Knowledge of working with relational data on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Knowledge of working with non-relational data on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization concepts.

You can gain the prerequisites and better understand working with data in Azure by completing Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals before taking this course.
