Analyzing Data with PowerBI
State of the Industry

The agenda of the course is to provide professionals with a better understanding of analyzing data with Power BI. The course broadly includes creating visualizations, the Power BI Service, and the Power BI Mobile App. After completing the course, participants would be able to create Power BI desktop visualization and implement power BI service. Adding to that, students will be provided with training in connecting to Excel data, collaborating with PowerBI data and Power BI mobile app. This course prepares professionals for official Microsoft certifications.

Eligibility and Requirements

Excellent knowledge of relational databases and reporting
Some basic knowledge of data warehouse schema topology
Some exposure to basic programming constructs (such as looping and branching)
An awareness of key business priorities such as revenue, profitability, and financial accounting is desirable.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications like Excel.

MCSA - Analyzing Data with PowerBI

This course introduces participants to business intelligence (BI) and how to self-serve with BI. It also focuses on providing introduction to Power BI desktop, and explores the features that enable the rapid creation and publication of sophisticated data visualizations.

With Power BI desktop you can shape and combine data with powerful, built-in tools. This will introduces the tools that are available for preparing your data, and transforming it into a form ready for reporting. This course also focuses on shaping and enhancing data.

This course is composition of two main topics namely data visualization and direct connectivity. In this course, participants will learn how to create and manage interactive data visualizations and also various connectivity options using Power BI.

This course focuses on providing advanced features in PowerBI. Participants are introduced to the developer API within Power BI, through which they can implement new functionalities. After developer API, they will be provided hands-on experience on Power BI mobile app.
