When the Québec budget was presented on March 25, 2021, a lump sum payment of $100 per term for full-time college and university students was announced. The measure aims to acknowledge the difficulties experienced by the students during the COVID-19 health crisis during the fall 2020 and winter 2021 terms.
Eligible students will be asked to fill out the lump-sum application.
It will be available on our educational institution’s portal (or other means of
distribution used by the institution), from July 2,
2021. Payments will be made starting on September 15, 2021.
If a student prefers to complete their application in a printable
format (PDF), they should send their application to the Registrar’s Office of
their institution. The link to obtain this form will be available from July
2, 2021 (specify method of distribution: website, portal or email).
