This course includes Understanding Core and Object-Oriented Programming as well as General Software Development. You will also learn about basics of Web and desktop Applications and databases. Anyone who wants to be a Software Developer needs this course to start. 
This course is perfect for absolute beginners with no previous coding experience, to intermediates looking to sharpen their skills to the expert level.
This training course teaches developers the programming skills that are required for developers to create Windows or Web applications using the Visual C# language and basics of Visual C# program structure which incorporates several features of the .NET Framework. 

In this you will focus on programming as a web developer. You will learn to develop advanced ASP.NET Core MVC applications using .NET Core tools and technologies. The focus will be on coding activities that enhance the performance and scalability of the Web site application. You will be using Microsoft Visual Studio in an individual-based or team-based, small-sized to large development environment. Students in this course are developing advanced web applications learning to manage the rendered HTML comprehensively. You will be able to create websites that separate the user interface, data access, and application logic.

You will learn what is database and themethods and language queries in implementing the databases. Students will understand techniques to deliver your project on real time by writing various database queries. They will learn the key concepts of the database systems. CRUD operations to create, update, delete a database were also taught in this course.

You will learn what scrum is and why it is so powerful for delivering even the most complex project on time. Students will understand techniques to deliver your project on time and difference between Agile and Scrum. Additionally, they will learn the key concepts of the Git source control system as well as step through the entire Git workflow. This will be important to Compare the different states in Git and compare between branches and commits and Manage files with Git (move, rename, delete) and update files managed outside Git

In this course you will learn Metadata elements, construct and analyze styles that position content, and analyze styles that implement a simple responsive layout. You also learn skills and concepts of HTML and CSS, two of the core technologies of the internet. This course teaches the coding of web design using HTML and CSS rather than front-end design. 
This course is also an excellent source to gain valuable introductory JavaScript skills. It will cover learning about JavaScript operators, keywords, and methods, using variables, data types, and functions, implementing decisions and loops, interacting with the Document Object Model, and interacting with forms.

ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

 Applicants with Post-secondary studies in Computer Science or Information Technology, are a good match for this AEC. Having a CEGEP Diploma, or relevant experience of at least 1 year make you as well a good candidate. Students need the following (minimum) ministry stipulated requirements: Secondary V / High School Diploma with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

To determine your eligibility, you need to meet with an advisor.

Upon successful completion of the program, the college grants the student an AEC (Attestation d’études collégiale)

    Yes, of course you can visit our campus and enquire about our program. You can register for the next upcoming information session through our website. You can also book an appointment to meet our program advisor.
    Each student is provided with a PC "desktop" in the classroom. However, students can bring their own laptops.
    Yes, you will be working on a project as part of the program. However, we do not offer an internship within the programs but you are free to intern in an organization if it’s in the purview of your program (Regular track) and if you have all necessary authorizations from the government of Canada.
    You can meet other international students during our Orientation Sessions.
