SAP Production Planning is one of the key modules in ERP and deals with planning processes, such as capacity planning, material planning, execution of production order, bill of material and goods movement. It is the process of aligning demand with manufacturing capacity to create production and procurement schedules for finished products and component materials. Production planning also includes tracking and making records of the manufacturing process flows.
Montreal College offers to students a relevant and up-to-date certificate in production planning by introducing students to key concepts of SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) such as BOM, Work Center and Data Center. Students will learn how demand is created, particularly Planned Independent Requirements, and will get an understanding of all the data involved in the process and of how to run the Materials Requirements Planning or MRP.
