Programming and Quality Assurance faculty equips students with essential coding skills and quality assurance principles, ensuring they can develop high-quality software solutions with precision and reliability.

Designed for students who have little to no prior experience in programming. Serves as a foundation for understanding the core concepts and principles of computer programming. Front-end development plays a critical role in creating user-friendly and visually appealing websites and web applications. This module introduces essential front end web development languages, focusing mainly on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Explores front-end web development best practices and the purpose of responsive web design.

JAVA PROGRAMMING
(75 Hours)

This course offers students a thorough understanding of Java language and object-oriented programming (OOP), spanning from fundamental syntax to advanced concepts. Topics include OOP principles, packaging, Java documentation, exception handling, and utilization of Java.

HIBERNATE FRAMEWORK

(30 Hours)

This course covers Hibernate, a popular free and open-source object/relational mapping (ORM) utility for storing and retrieving persistent objects for Java developers.

SPRING FRAMEWORK
(30 Hours)

In the course on the Spring Framework, you'll discover how modern applications are built using powerful tools that simplify development. From creating user-friendly interfaces to managing complex data interactions, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the technology driving today's digital innovations.

Students will engage in developing industry-relevant projects that simulate real-world scenarios which can be highlighted on their resumes.

TYPESCRIPT & JS PROGRAMMING (30 Hours)

The course will offer participants a deep understanding of fundamental programming principles and how to apply them in real-world scenarios. Topics covered include variables, data types, control structures, and functions in TypeScript and JavaScript.

ANGULAR JS FRAMEWORK (60 Hours)

AngularJS, is a robust JavaScript framework maintained by Google, revolutionizes front-end web development by enabling the creation of dynamic and interactive single-page applications (SPAs).

NODE JS FRAMEWORK (45 Hours)

This course is a deep dive into Node.js, the powerful runtime environment for server-side applications. Throughout this course, you will explore the core concepts, best practices, and practical implementations of Node.js to build robust backend systems.

Students will engage in developing industry-relevant projects that simulate real-world scenarios which can be highlighted on their resumes.

JAVA PROGRAMMING (45 Hours)

This course offers students a thorough understanding of Java language and object-oriented programming (OOP), spanning from fundamental syntax to advanced concepts. Topics include OOP principles, packaging, Java documentation, exception handling, and utilization of Java.

AUTOMATED TESTING USING SELENIUM (45 HOURS)

The course serves as an introduction to Selenium, an open-source and portable software testing framework for web applications. Students write scripts that are used to perform automated testing of applications on different browsers.

TOOLS FOR TESTING USING JIRA (15 HOURS)

Jira, a widely used project management and issue tracking platform. Participants will delve into the core features of Jira specifically tailored to support software testing endeavors.

The admission process entails the submission of several key documents. Applicants must provide their diploma and transcripts

  • Recommended Mathematics Secondary 4 CST
  • Possessing basic knowledge in operating systems as well as one of the following:
