Programmer Analyst and Database Management is a 16 month program that leads to careers in IT in any part of the world.

Technical Support and System Administration (expands on clicking)
Technical Support and System Administration is a 4 month program that leads to careers in IT in any part of the world. System Administrators are responsible for maintaining the computer systems of a company. Server management is a primary responsibility, and a System Administrator would be responsible for installing, maintaining and upgrading servers. They are also responsible for ensuring the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access.
Many System Administrators do not have a formal education, they are self-taught. They may have a degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS). Knowledge of business functions is also important, as is the ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles. To progress to more senior roles, a system administrator should have some knowledge of Project Management
The program aims to provide industry relevant and job oriented skills to the participants to enable them integrate with the workforce and become productive in the work environment. The Technical Support and System Administration program is designed to provide participants with intermediate to expert level competencies in a range of technical areas including:
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of computer components and peripherals
• Trouble shooting, repair and maintenance of computer components, connectivity issues, viruses and malware
• Operating system and networking fundamentals
• Implementation and maintenance of enterprise class server software
• Active Directory Server (ADS) Configuration

Business Intelligence and Data Mining refers to the variety of software applications and tools used to analyze raw data to produce useful information. Business Intelligence comprises a number of activities including data mining, data analysis, querying and reporting. BI’s primary objectives are to improve decision making, make business processes more efficient and reduce costs.
