This certificate provides the skills you need to advance your career as a Sysops engineer and provides training to support your preparation for the industry-recognized google cloud Devops and network engineer certification. You'll also can practice key job skills using Google Cloud to build software delivery pipelines, deploy and monitor services, and manage and learn from incidents. You will learn to apply SRE principles to a service, techniques for monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving infrastructure and application performance among other things.

Google Cloud - SysOps Engineer

This module explains the basic overview of the cloud computing, regions and zones in the GCP and creating an account. Basic concepts of the networking like what is network, IP address, CIDR notation and RFC1918 are explained. 

This module provides an overview about the VPC & Subnets, default VPC, skip default network creation, VM with default VPC, avoid default VPC, reversed IP Address in Subnet, types of VPC, create default network – auto mode, create custom VPC, create VM with Custom network, adding more subnets and reserved IP. 

This module explains the concepts of VM-to-VM communication using the SSH, ICMP & HTTP protocol, introduction to firewall, test firewall rule, 2 VM communication in same Zone (same VPC), 2 VM communication in different zone of same region (same VPC), 2 VM communication in different zone of different region (same VPC) and 2 VM communication in different VPC. 

This module discussed about the concepts of VPC network peering, centralized VPC and VPC Firewall, shared VPC, source & destination in Firewall rules, based on IP ranges, based on tags and based on service accounts, default routing rules and expand subnet ranges. 

This module provides the information about how to configure private access, cloud IAP, IP address and configuring multiple IP addresses. Private google access, private service access, serverless VPC access, demo on cloud IAP, internal private IP and external public IP, multiple NIC, alias IP & secondary IP ranges.

This module presents the concepts of container, container orchestration, Kubernetes, working with google Kubernetes engine (GKE) and configuring them. The concepts are clearly explained with an example of creating a public and private GKE cluster, connecting GCP with on -premises. 

This module explains the concepts of cloud VPN both static and dynamic routing, hands-on on cloud VPN Lab, cloud router introduction & cleanup, connectivity tests and cleanup all the resources. Concepts of cloud NAT and demo on it. 

This module explains important components of the google cloud in the networking domain like cloud interconnect, interconnect request, dedicated interconnect vs partner interconnect, cloud load balancer and types, introduction to cloud DNS and setting up load balancer with cloud DNS and deleting all the resources allocated to the cloud load balancer. 

This module presents the idea of Cloud CDN, setup Cloud CDN and cloud CDN with BigFile, introduction to cloud armor, demo on cloud armor and deleting all the resources of cloud armour, network service tier and VPC flow logs. 

This module presents the concepts like what is container, docker, container registry, docker images, optimize docker image & run docker container, push docker image to container registry, introduction to artifact registry and push docker image to artifact registry. 

This module provides you with an idea of building CI/CD pipeline, different services for CI/CD pipeline, CI/CD pipeline implementation. Introduction to infrastructure as a code, Terraform, Terraform installation, create VM with Terraform. 

This module provides an idea about tools available for operations, development like cloud error reporting, cloud debugger, cloud trace and how to optimize service performance like cloud billing, pre-emptiable virtual machine, compute engine – flat rate, committed use, sustained use discount and TCO – total cost of operations. 



For Networking professionals who want to familiarize with terminology and concepts as they compare to the GCP platform and navigate the GCP Management Console in their jobs on a daily basis.

Google cloud - Cloud Digital Leader and Google Cloud – Associate Level is a prerequisite course which is suggested to be taken before this course which provides the required basic knowledge about google cloud. Knowledge of any programming language and networking is suggested to make learning of this course easy.
