SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) is a global enterprise that serves 350,000 customers in 180 countries. According to, around 76% of the world’s transaction revenue involves an SAP system. Not only is SAP already a mammoth organization, but it is also expanding at a rapid rate, achieving significant and sustainable growth, which has led to a huge demand for a broad range of SAP professionals, from functional and technical consultants to architects and developers.

MCIT’s SAP program begins with theoretical topics related to the basic aspects of supply chain management, one of the high-demand modules in SAP. The program then puts more emphasis on functional SAP ERP modules. Students gain knowledge of a broad range of SAP modules like Production Planning (SAP PP), Material Management (SAP MM), and Sales and Distribution (SAP SD). Practice sessions involve implementing solutions discussed in class using the SAP tool. This approach prepares students to assess real-life industry situations and equips them with the tools to implement all possible scenarios in SAP.

This course is an introduction to the supply chain management of contemporary operational issues and techniques in industries such as the manufacturing and service sectors. Among the topics covered are the five powerful drivers of SCM: inventory, production, location, transportation, and information. Real-case studies are used throughout the course in order to provide an authentic working environment experience.

Whether you’re entering data, using SAP software on a daily basis, or require foundational knowledge of navigating the SAP system, the SAP Fundamentals course will walk you through the processes you need to perform your job: logging on to the system, navigation and maintenance, creating reports, printing, debugging techniques and more.

This course provides student with fundamental knowledge of the procurement processes in SAP. Students learn procurement processes for stock material, consumable materials and services, as well as the basic functions for purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, service entry and materials planning. Logistics information system introduces the students to the inbound delivery concept, which relates incoming material to the plant/warehouse.

This course provides students with a comprehensive overview of the inventory management process in SAP. After completing the course students will have a basic understanding of the major business processes, the functions and configuration in inventory management along with knowledge of goods movements and issues faced in the SAP system. The aim is to familiarize students with the special functions of inventory management and physical inventory.

This course provides students with in-depth knowledge of the SAP PP module. Students gain a basic understanding of the creation of vendors and their respective purchase orders. An overview of company codes, plant extension, sales order and maintaining shipment details with corresponding customers is also conducted.

This course provides students with knowledge of the warehouse management process in SAP. The SAP Warehouse Management application provides flexible, automated support to assist you in processing all goods movements and maintaining current stock inventories in your warehousing complex. After completing this course, students will have an understanding of how to handle warehousing processes such as defining and managing complex warehousing structures, optimizing material flow by using advanced put away and picking techniques, and processing goods receipts, goods issues and stock transfers quickly and easily.

This course provides knowledge of activities performed in Sales Order. Students will learn terminologies like sales area, division, distribution channel, sales office, payment methods, sales group and the techniques behind them. Students also learn how different customer data is maintained with different sales orders along with company codes. Outbound delivery includes sending material out from plant/warehouse premises while abiding by the formalities.

At the end of the program, students use SAP Software to work on an industrially-simulated, logistics project involving real-time data.
