State of the Industry

In this course, participants learn to manage the lifecycle of IT services to deliver as per business needs. This course includes case studies, through which students will learn the core concepts of ITIL. This course starts with an introduction to the key concepts of ITIL and principles of improving IT operations. Practical guidance is then provided for applying ITIL to everyday IT scenarios, including service strategy, service design, service transition, service operation and continual service improvement. At the end of the course, students are able to improve IT service quality and develop strategies to balance IT resources. The knowledge gained after completing this course equips students to prepare for the ITIL foundation certification. Upon successfully completing ITIL foundation certification, students can prepare for ITIL intermediate/advanced level certifications.

Montreal College offers a new session every four months, i.e., in October (fall session), February (winter session) and June (summer session). Students are encouraged to register at least 2 to 16 weeks in advance. Please note that many programs fill up before the registration deadline.
