SAP Sales and Distribution
State of the Industry

SAP Sales and Distribution module is a part of SAP Logistics module that manages customer relationship starting from raising a quotation to sales order and billing of the product or service. It is one of the core and most-used modules as it is used as a standard which is used in billing, shipping, selling of products with the main areas covered being pre-sales activities, sales order processing, shipping, invoice creation.

The program offered at Montreal College introduces the students to all the processes that occur right from the order to the delivery. The study material focuses on the complete end-to-end implementation of functionality related to the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module and covers the latest release of SAP ERP Central Component 5.0 and 6.0.

Who Should Apply

Individuals who are in the field of logistics and warehousing and wish to leverage their domain knowledge in related areas like sales and gain expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution. The certification helps you to get a well rounded knowledge of Sales & Distribution module that can be topped up with industry experience.

Eligibility and Requirements

This is an entry-level course but it assumes that learners have :

General IT knowledge
General IT Business knowledge
Working knowledge of Microsoft
Office and Internet Browsers

Organizational structures in sales and distribution
Overview of the process chain for sales order processing
Identifying sources of document data
Processing sales documents

Creating and maintaining customer master data
Creating material master for distinct views

Understanding the concept and structure of the delivery document
Maintaining the organizational units for delivery processes
Determining shipping point
Processing outbound deliveries
Returns , free of charge delivery , sub-sequent delivery

Controlling billing documents
Methods for creating billing documents
Using prices and other conditions in sales documents
Creating invoice lists

Tracking sales transactions
Tracks sales data along with team performance
Categorization of sales
Management of sales documents

Representing the enterprise in SAP R/3 system
Performing the right transactions
Generate reports
